a bit ago, i posted about a woman that was pregnant with 6 kids......that's right 1 2 3 4 5 6 kids. NUTS.
i wondered to myself.....is this
IRRESPONSIBLE??? the today show, at the time of this story, did not really seem to have much bias on the situation. they just gave a bit of facts and moved on to a new story. recently, they did an update on the family and she is still pregnant with 6 kids and the dad put the cribs together outside the room for the babies and he was screwed. still, not much on saying they were completely crazy.
today, on today, they did a segment on a 60 year old woman that had twins.
(note that this is her doc, not her hubby in the pic) this too, in my opinion, is NUTS. however, the today show had a spin to this story. they took a stance, so it seemed, that the woman was
IRRESPONSIBLE to do this at her age. hell, they even have a poll on their website! and if that were not enough for you to complain about how old this woman is,
you can dis her on their message boards. now, i am not too keen on this woman having a go at kids (but from what i read, she has 3 kids already....33, 29, and 6 years old). yet, i do find it odd that the today show was eager to slam this woman....married for 38 years, obviously rich and established........for having kids, but the woman about to give birth to a litter of kids gets off the hook. she even seems to be deemed :cute: about the insanity. no poll of how nuts 6 babies is going to be. no msg boards concerning her irresponsibility. hmmmmmmmm. bottom line: both have put what they wanted first and foremost and now there will be some very very very tough adjustments that need to be made.
